Also, bamboo is technically a grass, not a tree, so all bamboo products are tree-free! PS: We use bamboo in about 90% of our products.</li><li>Recycled plastic: all of the recycled plastic we use is either PP (polypropylene) or PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which is mainly from recycled water bottles. This is because these 2 types of plastic are the most highly recyclable types and are recyclable worldwide, providing a lot of supply. There are two different kinds of recycled plastics: PCR (post-consumer recycled) and PIR (post-industrial recycled). There aren&#x2019;t many ways for us to validate 100% PCR plastic because PCR and PIR are almost always mixed together, therefore we never use this claim.&#xA0;<ul><li>The benefits of using recycled plastic are:<ul><li>We&#x2019;re giving plastics a second life and creating a market for recycled material, therefore supporting the recycling process</li><li>Helps us to divert plastic from landfills</li><li>The carbon footprint is lower than producing virgin plastics&#xA0;</li></ul></li></ul></li></ul>
